Away with the fairys was born from a dream. I have been making Fairy dresses and doll and teddy clothes for over 15 years and always dreamed of having my own fairy shop.
When my husband and I stumbled across the old Blacksmiths building in Cust, I thought it would be a perfect place for a fairy and bear shop. Much to my husbands horror. Three days after first seeing it we had bought it and so begun Away With The Fairys.
I make a range of Fairy Dresses in four sizes and Doll and Teddy clothes. I also have a huge range of dress up costumes and accessories which I buy in. There are also 100s of bears and gifts for children and collectors.
We are on the main road in Cust 30 minutes from Christchurch. Come for a day out with the family. There is a popular picnic reserve behind us with a playground, picnic tables, Cust river and public toilets.
